RANDOM FACT OF THE DAY: ‘I Brought You My Bullets, You Bought Me Your Love’, which would later go on to be the name of MCR’s debut album, was originally the title of a short story Gerard wrote back when he had just graduated from art school and was suffering from depression. It was based on gangland murders in Chicago and was the result of Gerard having lots of creative ideas but no outlet for them.
